I love a good True Love story. Bentley and Dorothy are just meant to be together and I was rooting for them from the beginning. Bentley is just a young man down on his luck and I think that Dorothy is the only person that can show the world who he truly is and can change him to be a better person.
I was given an ARC for an honest review. This book is well written with good plot flow and character development. The characters and situations are believable without being overdone or trite. Bentley and Dorothy each suffer tragic loss. Bentley has been aware of Dorothy for some time, but Dorothy has no knowledge of Bentley. They meet under less than ideal circumstances because Dorothy is literally left on doorstep of Bentley’s business. Dorothy is less than receptive to Bentley and isn’t dealing well with her personal situation; so they get off to a bad start. While dealing with their own personal issues, they begin a platonic relationship that is fraught with awkward, difficult, angry, guilty, beautiful, and humorous moments. Through the adjustment period they learn to trust, become friends and then begin a delicate romance. There is a plot twist that I didn’t figure out before the answer was revealed, which is a huge plus for me as a reader. I would recommend this book to anyone that enjoys characters that come to life, life lessons, and romance that is hard-won. I hope you enjoy The Eyes and Ears of Love as much as I did.
Not a bad one. Good at start but very predictable towards the middle and end. Easy read while commuting to work
Wow. I have read so many books, but this is my first review because this book was amazing. The writing was incredible, painting a picture of two people with real emotions, not fake, romance novel drivel. I admit, it was hard getting through the first half of the book because I was crying so much. I can't wait to read more from this author!

I'm a big fan of romance and it was so refreshing to see two characters around my own age! The Eyes and Ears of Love is beautiful in more ways than one. It's a true testament of fate and how two people who have each been through so much (in very different ways from one another) can come together and find happiness. I loved that their emotions and actions were very realistic and not too over the top as they can often be in romance books. I only wish it were longer!
I generally don’t read romance novels because they’re cheesy and somewhat boring, BUT The Eyes and Ears of Love exceeded my expectation indefinitely. This book is A-mazing! It wraps your mind around the daily crap and tragedies people go through in life. Two college kids happen to fall in love in the process and guess what? They’re not perfect!!! This isn’t a fairytale story, it’s REALISITC! Danielle C.R. Smith is young, but she’s already got it all figured out how to write a phenomenal story. I really hope Danielle writes a second book because I want more of Dorothy and Bentley’s life. I'm addicted.
